CHARLIE BROWN, a St. Bernard, followed a young boy who had wandered away from home into a densely wooded snowbound forest area. Charlie Brown stayed with the lost and frightened boy and kept him warm until his owner, Lorne Rose, located them.
The Purina Animal Hall of Fame is a celebration of the extraordinary. As Canada’s longest-running pet recognition program, it honours animals whose acts of courage, loyalty, and compassion have left a lasting mark on the lives of others.
At Purina, we believe that pets are everyday heroes. Since the program’s inception, hundreds of animals have been recognized for their bravery and devotion. From alerting families to danger to offering comfort during difficult times, each inductee has made a meaningful contribution. Their stories inspire us to appreciate the strength and love that animals bring into our homes and communities.
