ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE, ALBERTA

Balloo and Jessie, four and one-year-old Bernese Mountain dogs, stayed with their owner, Ursula Tait, who fell down a rocky embankment after fainting on a hiking trip. Acting quickly, Balloo raced down the steep slop and stopped Ursula's fall, preventing her from colliding with the trees and rocks below.
