Developed in the British Isles in the 17th century, the Wire Fox Terrier was used to chase small game from their dens. Small and sturdy with a playful, friendly nature, the breed makes a wonderful companion. Bold, driven and determined, the Wire Fox is highly trainable and excels as a watch dog. His short coat sheds little and is easy to maintain.
