Animal Hall of Fame - 2017

At Purina, we understand that the relationship between pets and people is one of life’s most meaningful connections. This belief is at the heart of the Purina Animal Hall of Fame, Canada’s longest-standing pet recognition program. Since its inception, the Hall of Fame has honoured hundreds of animals whose acts of bravery, loyalty, and compassion have changed lives.

These pets have gone beyond the role of companion—alerting families to danger, rescuing loved ones, and offering comfort during difficult times. Their stories are a testament to the strength of the human-animal bond and the incredible impact pets have on our emotional and physical well-being.

Each inductee into the Hall of Fame has left a legacy of courage and kindness. Their actions inspire us to appreciate the animals in our lives and to recognise the everyday heroes who walk beside us. The program also encourages Canadians to share their own stories of pet heroism.
