Purina Rewards Program Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the Purina Rewards Program (the “Program”) offered by Nestlé Purina PetCare Canada, a division of Nestlé Canada Inc. (“Purina”). We’re glad you’re here, and we hope you enjoy everything the Program offers. By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms, and our website and mobile app (collectively, our “Site”) Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Participating Brands
The Program is run in association with the following brands: Beggin’; Beneful; Beyond; Beyond; DentaLife; Fancy Feast; Friskies; ONE; Pro Plan; Tidy Cats; and (collectively, the “Participating Brands”). The Participating Brands are subject to change at any time.
2. Who is Eligible
The Program is open to individuals who are residents of Canada, and are at least the age of majority Professional breeders, businesses, and institutional organizations (such as rescue groups, humane societies, or animal shelters) are not eligible to participate in the Program. We reserve the right to request proof of eligibility at any time.
3. How to Register
To register, visit http://www.purina.ca/mypurinacanada, complete the registration form, and create a Program account (your “Account”). There is a limit of one (1) Account per person, and Accounts cannot be shared or transferred.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Account, and you are responsible for all activities that occur under your Account. If you believe your Account has been compromised at any time, you must notify us immediately by submitting an email via our Contact Us form at www.purina.ca/contact-us or calling us at 1.800.268.5345
4. How to Earn Points
You can earn points by purchasing Purina products and participating in eligible activities (“Points”). The ways that you can earn Points are subject to change. A description of activities through which you can earn Points, the corresponding Point values, and other details, will be provided on www.purina.ca/mypurinacanada
Points Earning:
Customers get rewarded based on the following:
250 points for completing pet details for the first pet then 100 points for additional pets up to a maximum of 5 pets.
50 points for submitting a product review (maximum of one review per month) and up to 2 per year.
500 points for a pet’s birthday for the first pet entered – 100 points for additional pets on their birthday to a maximum of 5 pets. These points will be awarded every year within the monthly point rewards permitted
50 points per member per year on joining date (Anniversary)
10 points earned for every $1 spent when submitting a valid receipt with a Purina product purchase.
Limitations:
For Points offered in connection with a purchase, you must upload an image of a purchase receipt with legible retailer name, transaction date, identification of eligible Purina products purchased, and item transaction amount. Each receipt can be us/ed only one time, by one Account for up to one month after purchase.
Points will be awarded only up to $2500 in eligible Purina purchases per year. Points will not be awarded for the value of any purchases over $2500 in a year.
You need a minimum of 500 points for to start redeeming at $1 (1000 points equates to $2 in redemption, 2000 points for $4 in redemption)
Redemption rates, available at one dollar, $2 two-dollar, $3 three dollar or $4 four-dollar options.
The minimum of 2000 points per transaction can be redeemed. Maximum redemption of 2000 points per month.
We will investigate any issues, but Purina’s good faith determination of the number of Points you should have shall be final and binding.
Points will normally be added to your Account within 14 days of the day you earned them. You are responsible for ensuring that the Point balance in your Account is correct. If you believe that you did not receive Points or that there is some other error in your Account, you must contact us by sending a detailed email via www.purina.ca/contact-us or calling us at 1.800.268.5345 within 60days of the date you expected to earn the Points.
P5. How to Redeem Points
You can redeem Points for coupons to a maximum of $4.00per transaction (maximum of once per month). The ways in which you redeem Points are subject to change. For a current list of ways you can redeem Points, the corresponding Point values, and other details, review the redeem section of the Program. We will automatically redeem the Points that have been in the Account the longest.
Redemptions of Points are final, so once you redeem Points, the transaction cannot be reversed, and you cannot get a refund of your Points. Rewards will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability. Additional terms and conditions may apply to redemptions and will be noted in the Rewards section of the website.
Rewards will be delivered electronically within 48 hours from the date the redemption is fully processed to the email address provided at checkout. You are responsible for updating and ensuring that your registration information, including your mailing and email addresses, remains current.. We are not responsible for undelivered or mis-delivered reward items, including due to your failure to provide accurate delivery information or to check your spam filter.
6. Expiration of Points
All unredeemed Points will automatically expire one year from the date they were added to your Account, at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time
7. Promotions
myPurina Canada may run various product promotions throughout the year across Purina brands. Members must be signed up for myPurina Canada and submit a receipt with clearly identifiable eligible Purina products in order ttohe designated promotion. Promotion bonus point values and timeframes may differ for each promotion. Promotion participation frequency may vary by promotion within the designated time period. All Points will be added to the Account used to make the purchase.
8. Notice of Financial Incentive/Loyalty Program
When you sign up for the Program and create a myPurina Canada Account, you are exchanging personal information with us for the purposes of receiving discounts, price differences, and rewards. Personal information is information that is linked or reasonably linked to an identified or identifiable individual. Categories of personal information that we collect when you sign up include your name, email address, postal code, and you will create a password for future login purposes. Through your participation in the Program, we may also collect commercial information including products you purchase. We may use all of these categories of personal information for targeted advertising purposes. For more information regarding our privacy practices, please review our Privacy Policy here.
9. Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify any of the terms and conditions governing the Program at any time –including, but not limited to, the ways to earn Points, the number of Points you can earn, the rules for redeeming Points, the things for which you can redeem Points, and the expiration of Points – with or without notice, even though these changes may affect your ability to receive earn or redeem Points. Unless we tell you otherwise, modifications are effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account or the Program (in part or in its entirety) at any time, for any reason. If we do terminate your Account or the Program, we will notify you by email.
Your continued participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of any changes we make to these Terms. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about any changes we may make to these Terms. The most current version of the Terms will be available on https://www.purina.ca/purina-rewards-terms-and-conditions and will supersede all previous versions of the Terms.
If you don’t agree to any change we make, or at any point you decide that you no longer want to participate in the program, let us know by sending an email to purinaca-rewards@purina.nestle.com, and we’ll terminate your Account. Please note that if we do that, you will not be able to use any of the Points or other benefits you have accumulated.
10. General Terms
If we suspect that you have failed to comply with these Terms, no longer meet the eligibility requirements, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or otherwise attempted to manipulate or unfairly benefit from the Program, as we determine, in our sole discretion, we reserve the right to terminate your Account, prohibit you from participating in the Program, and take appropriate legal action. If we terminate your Account, you will not be able to use any of the Points or other benefits you have accumulated.
By participating in the Program, you agree to release and hold Purina its parent, subsidiary and affiliate entities, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, and its service providers and contractors harmless from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Program, including, but not limited to any technical errors that may prevent you from participating in the Program, earning Points, or redeeming Points.
By participating in the Program, you agree to receive messages about the Program. If we need to communicate with you about the Program, we’ll send a message to the email address associated with your Account. If your email address changes after you register for the Program, you are responsible for promptly updating your Account.
Points have no cash value, are issued for promotional purposes only, are non-transferable, cannot be bartered, exchanged, or redeemed for cash, do not constitute your property, may not be combined with Points in other Accounts, and may not be transferred or assigned to any other person, entity, trust, or estate.
12. Applicable Law and Venue
You and the Nestlé Purina Petcare Canada agree that any controversy or claim arising from or pertaining to the use of this Program shall be governed by the laws in force in the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein (excluding any conflict of laws, rule or principle that might refer such interpretation to the laws of another jurisdiction). You and Purina irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario with respect to any such controversies or claims.
From time to time, we may provide you with offers, promotions or unique experiences (“Rewards”) via myPurina Canada. We may impose additional terms and conditions that are specific to any particular Reward at the time of providing you with that Reward (i.e., coupons, online credits, digital rewards, etc.). Such additional terms and conditions will be binding on you. We may change any Rewards at any time without notice, and Rewards may expire at the sole discretion of Nestlé. Rewards may not be exchanged for cash, any cash equivalent or any products other than those indicated on the Reward (if applicable) or combined with other discounts or coupons. Rewards may contain additional terms and conditions, which will be expressly indicated on the Rewards themselves, and which may not be disclosed in advance of receiving the Reward. Rewards are personal to you, are not transferrable and may be redeemed only in Canada. The number, type and frequency with which we may provide you Rewards are dependent upon a number of factors, which we may change at any time in our sole discretion, including, without limitation, the number and types of activities you engage in within our online properties, the frequency of your usage of myNestlé, the type and extensiveness of your participation in other Nestlé programs or applications. Each time we provide you with a Reward, you will be able to view that Reward by logging into myNestlé on this site. Rewards may not be provided or redeemed if unexpected technical difficulties arise, and we have no responsibility or liability to retroactively provide or redeem Rewards.
